Chakra Meditation can be used to improve mental and physical health, relationships, and finances – all aspects of life.
Chakra Meditation is an integral part of Chakra Spirituality. Although Chakra Spirituality has seen many incarnations, modifications and progressions, it is still considered to be a most healthful practice of spirituality the world over.
Chakra Spirituality finds its origins in the ancient culmination of sacred Hindu texts known as the Vedas. The Vedas are the ancient books of knowledge which first referred to Chakras as being wheel or flower like energy spirals or interspatial vortices. They exist within our bodies and are intrinsically linked to the mind in it’s ability to act as the conduit between that which is beyond the physical or as it is known in Sacred text, -Â ‘The Shakti’. The Chakras, Chakra spirituality and Chakra meditation combine to form the nexus of methodology by which a healthful, sublime union with the higher self (that of the mind and body) can be achieved. Simultaneously, a more harmonious, relation with the universe or that which is beyond – (the metaphysical Shakti ) may also be realized.
Chakra Meditation is part of a total spirituality which can be practiced across the spectrum of belief systems and moral precepts. It’s main purpose and benefits are enlightenment and increased health. This is accomplished through Chakra Meditation.
According to ancient texts contained within the Vedas, there are seven main Chakras in alignment throughout the human body. The seven main Chakras provide the channels conjoining us between physical, perceptible reality and higher planes of existence. These seven Chakras reside in specific locations on the human body and they each have their own specific purpose and function. All human experience is governed by them.
It is the clearing/cleansing of each Chakra through Chakra meditation that we can bring into being healthy, unpolluted balance in all areas of our life.
In Chakra Spirituality, the seven main Chakras are known by names specific to their location on the body and are assigned color values, elements and gemstones relating to the energy with which they act within and without .
The Root Chakra (Muladhara) : Red, Earth, Ruby
The Sacral Chakra (Svadisthana) : Orange, Water, Amber
The Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) : Yellow, Fire, Gold
The Heart Chakra (Anahata) : Green, Air, Emerald
The Throat Chakra (Vishudda) : Light Blue, Ether, Turquoise
The Brow Chakra (Ajna) : Indigo, Light, Sapphire
The Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) : Violet/White, Amethyst/Diamond, Mystical Light or Bright Light.
Through Chakra Meditation one can have a profound effect on every facet of life. Mental and physical health, energy levels, emotions, relationships, communication, financial success are all in continuity and can be improved, finely attenuated to increase every one of life’s aspects to the highest, most efficient operating levels. Activating the Chakras through Chakra meditation is the first step in heightening the connection to the Shakti and the higher self. Conceptualization, visualization and imagery are the main keys in accessing the Chakras. Getting each Chakra spinning at it’s meridian takes time . Just as ‘muscle memory’ is built over time in the athlete, chakra memory must be developed and indeed is strengthened by engaging them on a content, regular basis. This is accomplished through Chakra Meditation.
Chakra meditation begins by either sitting or laying down in a relaxed position – whichever makes it easiest to find your inner calm and serenity, putting yourself in an optimum place where you may initialize higher levels of focus and imagery. The Chakra meditation is conducted by ‘logging in’ or accessing each individual Chakra progressively. From Root Chakra to Crown Chakra, All seven Chakra are engaged in the higher self of positive imagery and set spinning by that imagery as each Chakra’s attributes and distinct function are put into action exponentially.
When a healthy balance and activation of the Chakras is attained, It is seen in the energy field which encompasses us in what is known as ‘The Aura’. The Aura can be seen and used as a gauge of good health.
