Chakra Meditation Basics and Meditation Tips

The term Chakra according to the Vedas and the Hindu scriptures refers to the seven major centers of the human body. Chakra Meditation focuses on each center and depending on the feeling and the thought of the individual the energy centers close and open. Chakras could not be visualized by the naked eye. They are the ones that give energy to life force making the mind and body work together. These chakras are present at certain parts of the body. Each and every Chakra contributes to the well- being of the human body. Each Chakra is regulated to perform specific functions. If ever any stress occurs in the body an imbalance of Chakra is created resulting in physical illness.

Chakra Meditation must revolve around a required frequency so as to keep the mind, body and emotions harmonious. For a healthy body a balanced Chakra has to be maintained. In order to maintain a healthy body Chakras contribute a prominent role. The instinct joins with the feeling and thought. But at times the Chakras do not remain constant and as a result imbalance occurs in the physique of a person. Peace with the self cannot be achieved. The Chakras must be open. Only then a balance could be created in the individual’s physique. There are many ways to open Chakras .A suitable technique namely Chakra meditation has been designed in order to keep the Chakras opened.

By meditating one can reduce the physical vibration or frequency within the body. Once an individual starts chakra meditating the physical tremor within the body gets reduced instantly. Since the Chakras are exposed it causes vibration patterns in the body. These patterns become disorganized and as a result abnormality arises in different parts of the body. The Chakras that are already in conflict can cause friction in the body. So, these Chakras must be balanced every now and then. So by reducing the physical vibration the tension and pressure in the body automatically gets reduced.

Biochemical process promotes anxiety stops and this reduces the stress or mental suffering. In this manner the energy forces that act on the chakra centers could be minimized. During chakra meditation, an individual must give due importance to the posture. If not the energy forces may act on the Chakra centers causing unwanted stress on the different parts of the body. In order to reduce the vibration the individual must sit in such a way that the weight of the body is centrally balanced.

Next an individual must concentrate on breathing process. He must first inhale and then exhale in a rhythmic manner. The number of times an individual inhales and exhale must be uniform and it depends on the capacity of his lungs.   Based on the capacity of one’s lung he could vary this process of breathing. By breathing in a rhythmic manner the vibration could be slowed down. Now if one performs the meditation exercise the vibration may increase but the Chakras would remain concordant. So breathing in a rhythmic manner should be an important aspect to be followed by an individual while chakra meditating.

Crown Chakra

The Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) -  It’s location is found at the top of the head. much like a royal crown, It is placed or ’seated’ as a symbol of highness of understanding. It’s element is the entire cosmos and the universal.  The Crown Chakra is also called the Enlightenment Chakra. The totality of the Crown Chakra is a sum relating to a  state of being between the self by a higher understanding of the universal.

The Crown Chakra provides an interface between the individual and the totality of all being and understanding. The Sahasrara Chakra is a fusion between the higher intent of the universe and a unique, individual contribution to be made through being at one in understanding and enlightenment concerning Creation.

The Crown Chakra is associated with control over the Brain and Nervous System.

Like the other main Chakras, the Crown Chakra is intrensically linked to the realization of potential and also alike with all of the Chakras, there are unknown depths regaurding the totality of it’s power and only through frequent exercise of Chakra meditation and chakra clearing can those hidden treasures be uncovered.

The Crown Chakra is essential to the Chakra chain. It is the third portal within that chain, essential to meditative ascention and is most  prone to the relaying of kindred information between all of the Chakra.

The Crown Chakra’s color exists between Deep Purple and White. It’s gemstone is Amethyst or Diamond.

The graphic symbol for the Sahasrara Chakra is a purple lotus flower with an infinite number of pedals (symbolized by a thousand) – White outline/features with it’s Sanscrit symbol at center (Knowing). The Crown Chakra is  a harmony with  knowing and oneness.

The human body exists in a synergetic unison with energies/vibrations which find both intent and contentment in relation with us. These energies manifest themselves as frequencies. Just as each Chakra contains and relays a specific emission of intent and purpose, so do they require communication from the vibrancy of the life-force Shakti. The human body as a musical instrument is a positive and ever vigilant imagery. It interacts with the harmonic convergence points found and generated throughout the totality of everything.

Concepts of synchronicity and ‘Kizmet’ are deeply associated with the conflux of all that is and that which we are in greater way apart of. As we grow in Chakra meditation, so does our awareness of the energetic, synergistic frequencies with which we are intwined.

Divined from the Sacred Vedas, is the concept of  each Chakra having it’s own, unique frequency for meditation and healing. The Crown Chakra shares is the most resolute of all the Chakras in it’s frequency range.  The frequency of the Crown Chakra is exists between that of the Brow Chakra and the infinite. The Crown Chakra’s frequency can be put around the musical note of ‘B’ for meditation purposes but is capable of all resonances (higher and lower).

Each Chakral frequency range  is juxtaposed and specific to the individual.  Only through Chakra meditation and it’s correlating supplication via exercise thereof, can the true, universally assigned modulation be further attenuated.
